What Makes Plasmet ZF Aerosol Unique?
1. A two-part Epoxy Based Protective Coating in a Can Each 133 ml can of Plasmet ZF Aerosol includes a revolutionary mixing mechanism. Simply pull the pin to activate a lever connected to a cutting blade inside the can. This process seamlessly mixes the Base and Activator components, ensuring a perfect blend for optimal performance. Here’s how to get started:
- Shake the can enough for the ball to rattle for 20 seconds to loosen the base
- Pull the pin and turn 720 degrees to release the activator into the base.
- Continue shaking for an additional 2 minutes for complete mixing.
- Spray with the same technique as a commercial spray paint to achieve 10 -14 mils wft in a single coat without sagging – drying to 6 – 8 mils dft respectively.
Once mixed, the coating remains usable for up to 24 hours, giving you ample time for application. Plus, each can come with an extra spray tip for intermittent use, making it incredibly convenient—it’s so simple, even an inspector can do it!
2. Exceptional Coverage and Durability Each can of Plasmet ZF Aerosol covers approximately 4 square feet, providing an efficient and cost-effective solution. The advanced epoxy coating is formulated to withstand aggressive service environments, offering:
- Superior corrosion resistance with minimal surface preparation*
- Approval for immersion service in saltwater
- Rated to withstand splash zone service, seawater immersion and topsides offshore use
Glassflake reinforced barrier coating and effective rust inhibitors.
