Epoxy Resin Systems

Typical Industry Applications
Surface tolerant epoxy primer and corrosion resistant protective coating; tank, pipe, structure externals in aggressive saltwater, atmospheric, and splash zone service environments; used a surface tolerant primer for Plasmet AR3, Plasmet ZE and other Corrocoat acid resistant coatings on structure or assets in petrochemical plants.
Corrocoat's Plasmet ZF in an aerosol can; a two part epoxy protective coating mixed in an aerosol can
A polyamine cured, high solids, two-pack glass-filled epoxy with good gloss and chemical resistance.
98% Sulfuric Acid Resistant Epoxy Lining; Sulfuric Acid secondary containments, Sulfuric Acid Storage Tanks and Isotainers, structural steel subjected to sulfuric acid spills, drips, vapors, neutralization tanks
Highly abrasion resistant epoxy lining; gypsum pumps, cyclones, slurry vessels; also used as a binder/ mortar for installation of alumina tiles
Highly abrasion resistant epoxy lining; gypsum pumps, cyclones, slurry vessels; An evolution of Plasmet HTE with a lower viscosity and a longer maximum overcoating window
Glassflake epoxy used for aggressive atmospheric conditions and aquatic immersion environments; great elongation, flexibility, relatively good for impact resistance commonly used for structural steel, bridges, pilings decks, externals of process vessels/pipelines, jetties, ships hulls and other marine and heavy industrial service environments
Low shrink epoxy filler compatible with Corrocoat's epoxy primers and coatings; Pit Filling, Coving at tank floor to wall interfaces, trowel applied tank linings
Low shrink epoxy laminating resin compatible with Corrocoat's epoxy primers and coatings; Pit Filling, Coving at tank floor to wall interfaces, trowel applied tank linings
Epoxy primer and sealer engineered for concrete surfaces; can be applied to damp concrete as a primer for Corrocoat coatings or linings or used on it's own as an effective concrete sealer
A 3 part polymer concrete with low shrink, high strength capabilities; can achieve 5,000 psi compressive strength within 12 hours of placement, 20,000 psi at full gel (cure); used to fill large pits in concrete on grade or concrete walls; compatible with Corrocoat Epoxy linings for overcoating in pump bases or secondary containments
A 3 part trowellable evolution of Corrocoat Zip E; can be used to grade concrete surface to a drain, applied by trowel at as low as 80 mils dft and as much as 1/2" thick in a single pass. Can be used on it's own as a corrosion resistant, chemically resistant liner or overcoated with a compatible Corrocoat lining system specified to resist the given service environment.

*The practical spread rate is based on our experience utilizing skilled coating applicators whom are familiar with Corrocoat materials. The practical spread rate takes into account estimated shrinkage, line loss plus 20% waste factor. Consumption rates may vary. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to order enough material for the project at hand. These rates are meant as an approximate guide.

**The temperature limits stated are approximate and generally conservative. Consult with your Corrocoat representative to determine the actual temperature limit of a given coating or coating system for a given service environment.
