Steel Coating at FGD Structure - Plasmet ZF

Specialty Coatings engineered to protect against specific service environments:

A two-pack solvent free polyamine cured epoxy, resistant to strong concentrations of up to 98% Sulfuric Acid, other acids and sodium hypochlorite.

A two-pack cold cured bisphenol A polyester/acrylic co-polymer enhanced with flaked glass. Suitable for a wide range of service environments and the preferred specification for Hydrochloric Acid at up to 35% concentration.

A two-pack cold cured brominated vinyl ester/acrylic co-polymer enhanced with flake glass. Generally specified for aggressive high PH immersion service environments, such as 50% Sodium Hydroxide (NaOH) and 20% Sodium Hypochlorite. Complemented by a suite of filler grade, laminating resin and veil coat.

Styrene Free Bisphenol A Polyester glass flake coating. A Styrene free Novolac Vinyl Ester version of the Ecoflake is also available upon request. Complemented by a suite of filler grade, laminating resin and veil coat.

A three-pack, cold-cured polyester containing metallic (inorganic) copper flakes. Corrocoat Biofoul is considered non-toxic; it has excellent long-term anti-fouling properties and will withstand flow velocities in excess of 82f/s (25m/s). Often specified to coat cooling water screens (aka traveling screens), offshore fire water screens and other applications where biological growth is detrimental to reliability of operational efficiency.

An electrically conductive two pack cold cured acrylated ester system loaded with flaked graphite. Specified as a topcoat for service environments such as Hydrofluoric Acid and Hydrofluorosilicic Acid. Also specified as a primer layer on concrete lining applications, so as to allow for a conductive surface to spark test to – for continuity testing.

An electrically conductive two pack cold cured acrylated ester system loaded with flaked graphite and glassflake designed to dissipate static electricity.

A highly abrasion resistant viscous, solvent free, two or three pack, amine cured epoxy, containing both stainless steel flakes, glass flakes and silicon carbide. Commonly specified for internal lining of slurry pumps, grinder tank blades, slurry sump bottoms beneath agitators and for polymer casting new flange faces in situ. Trowel or brush applied. Very chemical resistant and relatively high temperature resistance: Immersed conditions: 275°F (135°C), Non-immersed conditions: 338°F (170°C).

A 3-pack epoxy resin system, aggregate filled, to form an epoxy polymer concrete. Trowel-able at thicknesses as low as 3/8”, and able to reach 3000-5000 psi compressive strength within 12 hours, 20,000 psi compressive strength and 1,800 psi tensile strength, fully cured. Self-leveling and highly chemical and temperature resistant. Corrocoat Epoxy Polymer Concrete to be top-coated with our Polyglass VE barrier linings, Zip E, Plasmet AR3 and more. Vinyl Ester and Polyester Polymer Concretes also available.

A three part epoxy glassflake screed, intended for application over Plasmet ECP or Zip-E to restore grade and/or provide a non-slip surface on concrete and metallic surfaces. Corrocoat Zip E Screed is often used in conjunction with Polymer concrete and other epoxy coating systems where it is advantageous to grade the system to a drain or sump.

A high-solids, low viscosity, two part epoxy primer with excellent adhesion to damp surfaces. Typically specified as the primer for concrete specifications that require epoxy resin based coatings or linings.

A peroxide catalyzed, glass flake polyester primer that can be used on damp concrete surfaces or where the moisture in the concrete is approaching the saturation point. Typically specified as a primer for concrete linings that utilize Vinyl Ester or Polyester resin based coating systems on chemical secondary containments.
